Ashley House is truly the best coach! She has been working so well with my son, who is on the autism spectrum, and I can’t say enough good things about her. From the very beginning, she made him feel comfortable, safe, and understood, which means everything to us as parents.
What stands out most is her patience, kindness, and the way she connects with him. He looks forward to his time with her, and that says a lot. We’ve seen so much growth in him, not just in skills but in his confidence too.

My daughter used to go when she was 4 years old and I thought everything was going so well then I noticed that my daughter wasn’t enjoying her time like before.
The swimming instructor did let me know that a kid had bit him so he had to see sent the kid back to his parents. Which that must have been irritating. BUT gives NO REASON to treat my daughter wrong. My little girl wanted to cry because of how he was so upset that she was not understanding.
Then I decided to switch instructors and I noticed that gossip went around so the other instructors new I wanted to switch. So when I did switch with her, then the new instructor told me, my daughter needed another bathing suit because the bathing suit she had was not appropriate. I told that instructor that my daughter’s past instructor, NEVER TOLD ME THERE WAS AN ISSUE. HOW IS IT AN ISSUE NOW? So I let it go and I went to go buy it for my daughter. And I felt that it was just attitude everytime I went. I just decided to take my daughter out.
I’m not sure if it was some sort of race situation…..but it really did hurt me ….no apology will fix this. Just thought I’d let anyone know…..I don’t care if any staff laughs at this. It isn’t right for a business and even when teaching .

9.5-year weekly customer — candid look behind the curtain
I’ve brought my child here weekly for ~9.5 years. I know most of the staff and have watched many instructors and families come and go. Today was a wake-up call: a manager called me and the tone was not “let’s clarify,” it felt like “we’ve already decided.” I was spoken at, not with.
I was told: (1) my child’s instructor is “afraid to speak to me,” (2) parents were uncomfortable when I spoke about their child’s struggles, (3) “all staff” already spoke to me and I “refuse to stop,” (4) I’m undermining lessons, and (5) I “hover.”
Context matters. My child has had the same instructor ~1.5–2 years and we’ve always communicated normally. I’ve repeatedly said, “If I’m ever a distraction, tell me.” I do sometimes coach my child (focus, hand position), and I have occasionally offered a simple tip to another student in public when I’ve watched the same painful mistake repeat for weeks (example: crossing ankles on dives reduced belly-flops and helped another child immediately). If the policy is “parents may not coach any student,” that’s fine—post it clearly and enforce it consistently. Don’t assume malicious intent.
Separate from that call, after nearly a decade I’ve repeatedly observed issues parents should know about:
Inconsistent instruction between instructors/subs (kids told one week it’s “wrong,” next week told to revert).
Coaching/attention gaps (correcting from far away, then blaming the child for “not listening”).
Private lesson time concerns (late starts on 15-minute privates without clear make-up time).
Instructors openly debating technique/“standards” across the pool during lessons.
This isn’t a personal attack on any one instructor. It’s a long-term customer saying the operation can look polished from the outside, but there are real concerns about professionalism, consistency, accountability, and how management handles feedback.
If you’re enrolling, ask:
1. The exact parent-interaction policy,
2. How private minutes are tracked/protected, and
3. How they standardize technique across instructors and substitutes.
If leadership addresses these concerns constructively, I’m willing to update this review.

We have been taking our son here for about a year and a half. Coach Wyatt has always worked with him to make it an enjoyable learning environment. We started off in the parent and tott classes and moved to private lessons (all with with Wyatt).
We can’t thank Coach Wyatt enough for the support and encouragement of our son. Highly recommend him as a coach. He’s worked through my son’s crying fits with grace and patience. He always tells us about his accomplishments and what’s next.
The facility has everything from changing stations/rooms, bathrooms, and showers. Everything looks and feels incredibly clean. Huge shout out to the crew who handles this aspect – they do amazing and a detail that is very noticed and appreciated.
The front desk staff always greets us with a warm smile and are always kind and professional to work with.
