It’s a YMCA in its purest form. Very clean and well maintained, but is a little dated. Has everything you need to get a great workout… I was a guest, so I can’t comment on pricing and value…

Been a member of the YMCA for several years. Very friendly staff and most recently a great choice of classes. Water aerobics classes tent to fill up weeks in advance so you need to be on top of the scheduling of those. Recent upgrades to the workout equipment has been done. Free weights are great and can be crowded later in the evening. Overall I’m happy with this location.

Dropped in, out of town member. Only used the pool facility, so I don’t know much about rest. Have done a few of the swim/ water excersize classes. They are very good, but advance registration is required, and classes fill up quickly, as the class sizes are limited due to lifeguard restrictions.
There is lane swimming when there’s no class, and also a 2nd smaller pool. Place is always busy.

Today I visited the center to ask about accessible programs for my child with special needs who requires accessible support. I was looking for guidance on suitable activities and how to enroll.
Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk was not helpful. The staff member I spoke with (a woman) was not very welcoming, and I was mainly directed to check the website without proper explanation or support. There was also a male staff member nearby who seemed willing to help and suggested providing an email contact, but I was not given clear assistance or properly guided to the right person.
Because of this experience and the lack of supportive communication, I do not feel comfortable continuing with this center and have decided to look for other options that are more understanding and helpful for families like mine.

The Y has declined, started with the last director who had an emphasis on “social justice” and being a food bank rather than being a good athletic club.
Too much fund asking for social programs, and not enough re-investment in the facility – both plant and equipment. For example, the weight room overall is a disaster compared to other clubs. High schools have better, more modern equipment. The decisions there are hap-hazzard and are not done with a long term plan.
Another issue is how they don’t focus on seniors. It really used to be a community, not anymore. A lot of those people have left. As it is not a community centered space anymore, you are better off going to Chuze for $20 a month. All the equipment is very good, well maintained, and they don’t claim to be something thy are not.
