We’ve had such a great experience with my son’s swim class at SafeSplash! The instructors are incredibly patient, encouraging, and truly understand how to work with young kids—especially those who may need a little extra time or support to feel comfortable in the water.
My son (age 4) has grown so much in both confidence and skill since starting. What I appreciate most is how the coaches balance structure with fun, making each lesson something he actually looks forward to. They celebrate small wins and create a really positive, low-pressure environment.
As a parent, it’s reassuring to see such a strong focus on safety while still keeping the kids engaged and smiling. I’m so grateful we found this program and would absolutely recommend it to other families!

I’m not someone who typically writes online reviews, but the SafeSplash Englewood team could not be more deserving of online recognition.
When I say “team” I’m referring to the amazing teachers in the water and the wonderfully kind folks running the program. The teachers are fun while also serious, prioritizing safety and progress while making kids feel comfortable and proud of their efforts. We have two kids in lessons at different levels and management has been so accommodating to ensure each kid is in the appropriate level while also recognizing our busy schedules and limited time.
Over the past few years we’ve tried swim lessons at a handful of places and have been always walked away less than impressed, especially when you factor in the time and cost associated with those lessons. That’s not the case here! From the consistency of their teachers to the responsive management, not to mention a comfortable pool and intimate setting, it all results in real progress in the water. If you’re looking at swim lesson options, I would highly recommend the SafeSplash Englewood location.

So far so good. My 10 year old son needed to build confidence in the water so we enrolled him in lessons. He’s made progress in the last 2 months and enjoys coming to the pool every week. The instructors are patient and good with kids – even when they are of all various ages.

We’ve been at SafeSplash for about a year and a half now and it has been a wonderful experience. This is our 4th swim school we’ve tried and we couldn’t be happier with it. After her previous swim school caused my daughter’s swimming to regress to the point where she would not even let me help her with a supported back float. Steve, however, immediately gained her trust and she learned more in her first day at SafeSplash than she had learned in nearly a year of twice/week lessons at a different facility. Within 4 months, she was independently floating and kicking across the width of the pool. As soon as she was old enough, we signed my youngest up for SafeSplash and she has had an excellent experience as well.
One of my favorite things about SafeSplash is how small it is. Although Steve is my girls’ primary instructor, they know and have a relationship with all of the Monday teachers, so it is an easy transition for them to go with Eden or Ashlynn on days they have makeup lessons. Additionally, Eden, as the deck manager, really picks up on what my kids need to improve and uses that information when she’s teaching my kids

We’ve now been at Safe Splash since June 2025 (6 months) and my kiddo went from not being able to float to a full on swimmer, with good technique! We were in Hawaii and had multiple people comment on his swimming technique being really impressive for a 7 year old. All the instructors are so patient, kind and motivating. My kid absolutely loves coming to swim class and he is actually learning to swim!
