We loved working with Jocelyn and Hugh!!! They taught us our wedding dance and helped us through all of the fine details so we felt more confident going into it. Even without us having any experience or comfortability! They’re such lovely, accommodating, fun people. Not to mention their outstanding choreography and dancing skills! I can’t recommend this place enough.

They were excellent – super welcoming for a couple new to dancing, fun, accommodating to our goals, and so flexible. They even opened up just for us on a Sunday to make up for a class after their dog got sick. 10/10 recommend.

There are so many great things to say about Hugh and Jocelyn! They are both incredibly talented dancers, and watching them dance together is amazing!
I started ballroom dancing with the goal of competing, and Hugh has been an outstanding teacher throughout the process. He has a great ability to help refine technique and push for improvement while still being patient and encouraging.
Jocelyn is an absolute joy to be around and has been so helpful beyond just dancing — offering guidance on dresses, shoes, jewelry, and makeup suggestions for competitions and performances.
Another thing that makes this studio so special is the community they have created. The other dancers are incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive of one another, which creates such a positive and encouraging environment to learn and grow in.
Together, Hugh and Jocelyn make an incredible team, and it’s no surprise their business is thriving. Whether you’re interested in ballroom dancing for a wedding dance, competitive dancing, or simply for fun, this is absolutely the place to go!

We are so happy we were referred to Jocelyn and Hugh at Resolute Ballroom. They both are so talented and professional. My husband and I had little dance experience, but they make you feel so comfortable and confident in what they are teaching you. They choreographed such a beautiful and fun first married dance. We highly recommend working with Jocelyn and Hugh if you are looking for dance lessons. They also have fun different group dance lessons on Thursday nights that we have attended and have enjoyed and learned so much. We truly enjoyed working with them and appreciate their hard work they put into our first dance. We even became such good friends with them that we invited them to our wedding and had such a great time with them at the wedding.
