I spent all summer trying to teach my 7yo and 5yo how to swim myself and it didn’t go so well. The few classes they’ve taken at British swim school have made a huge difference already. I like that they focus on mastering the foundational skills before they move on to anything else and they make it so fun for the kids. We’ve had Tashi and Aubrey as instructors and they’re both incredible. Highly recommend!

The instructors have been great! I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend the British swim school for parents that have kids like mine with fear of water or if they don’t like water on their face.
Before British swim school, both of my boys had a hard time learning to swim because they didn’t like water on their face. Now my boys feel comfortable in the water and they like and have fun learning how to swim. Very happy 😁 parent!

There are two important things to know before moving forward with British swim school. 1. They require a WRITTEN notice 30 DAYS in advance for cancellation and 2. They will not under any circumstances or for any reason offer you a refund.

We were not thrilled with our first month with British swim school. There were instructors in the water not helping with classes while kids sit on the edge of the pool shivering waiting for their turn. The lessons themselves are not very productive, but we decided to give it another month. The last straw was showing up for the first lesson of our second month only to be told 5 minutes AFTER the lesson was supposed to start that the chlorine levels were too high and class was cancelled. (Interesting that they require 30 DAYS notice for cancellation, and customers are not even given 5 minutes notice for a class being cancelled). We expressed our frustrations with the new owner and requested a refund and were told no. As a reminder, we had attended zero of the lessons we had paid for yet due to cancellation. So it’s not like we were requesting a refund after attending our lessons. And the new owner still said no. So now we are out nearly $300.

I never leave reviews but this was a bad experience. Really poorly run and really bad customer service. There are lots of swim lesson options in the Denver metro area. I would NOT recommend British Swim Schools.

We restarted swim lessons for my 10-year-old, and what stood out about British Swim School is their focus on water survival from the start. Even though my son was comfortable in water, he never knew what to do if he couldn’t touch the bottom—until now. Starting from the basics gave me so much confidence in their program. Tatiana has been amazing, and we’re so happy to be part of this journey!

Our family loves the British Swim School! After trying several different swim schools in the area, we really enjoy that the instructors all provide the same positive and empowering swim experience for our child. We’ve seen his skills and comfort in the pool grow over the last several months and love the encouragement he receives as he tries new things!
