Quentin has been absolutely amazing! Both of my sons have learned so much, but I especially want to recognize Quentin for the incredible impact he’s had on my 7-year-old, who has autism.
He connected with my son in a way that no one else has. Because of Quentin’s patience, understanding, and encouragement, my son is now much more confident in the water. He’s learned to blow bubbles, can now swim independently (though he’s still working on his technique), and most importantly, he believes in himself and enjoys being in the water.
There were times when Quentin wasn’t available and we had other instructors. Those transitions were challenging for my son, but every instructor truly did their best to connect with him, and I appreciate all of their efforts. I especially want to thank Quentin for going above and beyond to make sure my son was paired with the best instructor possible whenever he couldn’t teach him himself. That level of dedication means the world to our family.
My 2-year-old son has also been thriving! He’s become so confident in the water and learns something new every session. The lessons are always fun, engaging, and something he genuinely looks forward to.
Thank you to Quentin and the entire team for creating such a welcoming and supportive environment. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

I absolutely love this swim school. My son Silas is 3 years old and he’s a delightful handful. We’ve had an absolutely amazing experience here. With the exception of one instructor (she was amazing but just didn’t seem to have the patience for a 3 year old), each of his trainers have been nothing short of fantastic. The managers are personally invested in his progress. The whole staff celebrates his successes and they work together trying different strategies to get him to those “break through” moments. They say his name when they see him and make sure to mark even small milestones so he feels noticed. I’ve been to a couple other swim schools just trying things out and I feel that my money is incredibly well spent at Big Blue. If you’re on the fence or you’ve never done swim lessons for your kid, this is an awesome place to start. Alena, Evelyn, Christian, and Ethan are necessary shout outs here. Thank you guys for having the patience to teach my crazy boy.

I absolutely love it, my daughter was scared of water before coming. She never liked pools, but we signed her up for an upcoming trip. My daughter started nervously and wanted to just hug her teacher. Now she’s confident and excited to show her teacher what she can do in the water. This is a major accomplishment for my baby girl. We couldn’t be happier. She’s thriving in her swim classes. Her teacher is absolutely amazing with my daughter. Very kind, caring, and welcoming, I will always recommend Ms. Guadalupe for your little ones.. My little one gets so excited for her swim classes, and we now have a countdown till her next class. We will definitely be staying till she graduates!!

Lakewood Big Blue Swim School is amazing! My daughter has leveled up to the next progress, she is learning and I see improvements. The coaches are great and attentive. They do little fun riddles for the kids to join in and on which makes the class even more interactive. They are praised for work well done which motivates the kids to continue to do better.
