There’s a public pool, which as a Lakewood resident I am sure I pay taxes for, and as a single mother I have been discriminated against because I have 2 kids under 48″ tall. Both children are in Coast guard approved life jackets and I have 2 arms to hold on to each of them with, but they wouldn’t let me utilize my public pool.

Nice, quiet park with walking trails and clean, well-maintained playgrounds separated by age group. There are shaded play areas, picnic tables, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a big parking lot. The toddler playground is gated for extra safety and has shaded seating areas for parents. Located in a nice, safe neighborhood too.

Love this park. It has two separate play areas for bigger kids and then for smaller children and a couple of different areas with full table benches for parties and fire pits! Barbecue area and a shaded area with bench tables and another area with barbecue pits. My son loved running around in the sand area for big kids, and he’s only two years old. This place is great for family outings and social gatherings for the kids!

Nicely redone park idea for 2-6 year olds I would say.
Couple baseball diamonds.
Great field of grass for soccer.
Basketball courts (2 full court ones)
Went for fair which is yearly.

There’s a toddler playground & a big kid playground. Both are always clean & well maintained. The wading pool is officially opened from 11am – 4pm. Love this park all around!
