My daughter has been going here for a few years and every staff member here is like family and welcoming. We moved homes recently and checked out another dance facility. She came out of the facility and said “” this dance school is not home like DDC is home , the people at DDC make it home mommy . They teach me everything””””
. I decided to continue DDC again and make the drive. Tonight we called and I got assisted by JASMINE …what an absolute angel! I was driving for part of the phone call wanting to eagerly get my daughter signed up before classes got full. She assisted me over the phone ,got us in and answered all my questions. She was so patient and happy to help me. God bless her because I was a hott mess lol. Thank you Jasmine!!! My daughter immediately ran to her room,grabbed her DDC shirts and immediately was crying in joy! She said “” jasmine sounded so sweet and made me miss DDC even more”””

My 9yr old daughter is so thrilled to be back with miss Danielle. Shes always talking about miss danielle and miss Julie…and now Jasmine lol. Every teacher here is AWESOME. always stopping parents and kids to see if they need help,been helped and coordinate everything very well.

My daughter enjoyed her dance teacher and class here and so did I but after my experience with Jasmine (receptionist) and the stress she put me and my family through we decided to end our classes with DDC.
We paid in october for my daughter to be in the christmas recital and when she never got her shirt I thought they forgot and went to ask for it when the receptionist Jasmine says that my daughter was not on the recital list and that I didnt pay for her to be in it. I was confused because I remembered paying it and I asked if she was sure and she doubled down so I offered to pay for it there and she refused saying it was too late. I left still confused and upset but not wanting to make a scene I started to think maybe I paid for the class and not recital I was sad I let my daughter down. Then on the day of recital I found my reciept!! I had paid! I let one of the other dance parents know that I was on my way to make it to the recital and she informed Jasmine so she could get my daughters shirt ready but instead Jasmine replied, “Well she didnt sign the consent form” and the other dance mom said well shes on her way now. We arrived on time and luckily another lady checked the list and my daughter was on it! So Im not sure why Jasmine lied or tried to give us a hard time. The other lady gave my daughter her shirt and she was able to perform!! I was so relieved because we bought tix to attend for the whole family ahead of time and now we could see my daughter on stage!! Jasmine never gave an apology. I never dealt with anyone so unprofessional and a dance school so mismanaged before! My daughter attended ballet school where we paid for photo sessions and recitals and noone ever tried to keep our money or was rude to the dance parents. After hearing how she responded to the other dance mom and was unapologetic about almost making us miss my daughter recital I decided to pull her out of this school. Its not managed well enough if the receptionist can tamper with things so easily.

I took my daughter to Downey Dance Center for her very first creative movement class, and it was such a wonderful experience thanks to Miss Julie. My daughter was a little shy and didn’t want me to leave her side at first, but Miss Julie was so sweet, kind, and welcoming. She even allowed me to stay in the room until my daughter felt comfortable. Throughout the class, Miss Julie gently encouraged her and made sure to include her in every new step. I’m so grateful she didn’t give up and continued to reassure my daughter. Shortly after I stepped out and was watching her from the tv. My daughter was smiling, participating, and having an absolute blast. Thank you, Miss Julie, for making her first dance class such a positive and memorable one!

We love Downey Dance Center! My daughter has been part of this organization for 4 years now and they are an amazing community resource. The teachers are very caring and dedicated to improving each dancer’s skill. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We look forward to recital season every year.

Great place! I have my 4 year old daughter in the baby hip hop class this is her first time taking dance classes and she’s very shy but her both teachers make her feel very comfortable and she loves to go to her dance classes she’s not shy when she’s in her class thanks to her teachers for being so nice and patient with all the kids that are a part of DDC
