The crew at Fred Astaire Artesia is amazing! Last Summer I was in California for a work trip and I wanted to take some dance lessons while I was there. Genevieve is an amazing instructor. Andrew and David had great group classes. The studio is beautiful and luxurious in a fun strip mall with some of the best acoustics I’ve heard in any studio anywhere.
Genevieve taught me hustle, waltz, tango, samba, and merengue. David taught technique, and Andrew taught waltz and Argentinian tango.
The other students are friendly and welcoming to new students of all skill levels.
I hope I can go back soon and see everyone again.
5/5 I would recommend this studio to anyone who wants to learn ballroom.

I started with absolutely no dance experience, and this studio made me feel comfortable right away. The teachers are incredibly patient and genuinely care about your progress. Since joining, I’ve learned waltz, tango, swing, foxtrot, rumba, salsa, bachata, and cha cha, which I never imagined I’d be able to do. It’s also helped me build confidence and become comfortable taking the lead. What really stands out though is the community, everyone is so welcoming and supportive. It’s more than just classes, it’s a great environment to be part of!

After taking quite some time off dance, I came to this studio to take some group classes and try to get back into it. From the start David created such a safe and encouraging environment. I recently did my first competition in years and was amazed by the support and encouragement. From amazing in-house coachings with Jenavieve and Andrew to talking through all the prep and encouragement from other students this studio gives so much heart and energy to help their students achieve their goals. It is definitely worth stopping by, you will love it!!

She made us feel super comfortable and confident about our choreography. David, the studio owner is so friendly and encouraging. This studio has so much life; is inviting and warm. I had my first lesson today at Fred Astaire Artesia. The studio is beautiful! But more importantly, David and Aaron were so welcoming and genuinely happy to have me dancing there! My lesson was with Aaron… I started ballroom dancing 4 years ago with him (in RB studio where I live). When he announced he was opening his own studio, I could not imagine not following him. He is that good. Both him and David are champions in there category, so talented, yet so patient and attentive to our success. Kind hearted, always with a smile… no matter what! I am now going to be driving 45 minutes each way to take my lessons (instead of 5 minute walk to their past studio)… They are that good! Dancing makes me happy… thanks to Aaron
